God made only water, but man made wine

Xinomavro

The name comes from the Greek word 'sour' and 'black' : sour for its increased sharpness and black for its dark color.

Xinomavro is one of the most distinct and multi-faced red Greek varieties. It can produce different types of wine (red, white and rose).

The intense tannins of the variety thatsoften over time, and the body that remains thick and rich, produce wines with a unique aroma and taste. It is grown in more areas than any other variety in Greece and has been declared as the Greek Pinot Noir.
